Our coaches are the the life blood of 4CITY, working on the front lines with our hundreds of young players as well as supporting our volunteer coaches and commissioners. Every coach has been vetted not just for basketball ability but the capacity to help kids achieve with a purpose.

Coach Marty

Girls Commissioner

Mark has helped build the 4CITY girls program and steer it through the challenges of the pandemic. You will likely find him on the court coaching a 4CITY or middle school team, or watching film, or traveling half-way across the country to catch a game of his beloved Hoosiers.

Coach Anna

Jody is a founding 4CITY board member who has used her strategic marketing chops to help build 4CITY into a durable youth sports brand in the Bay Area. As a parent of three, Jody understands the value—and traps—of competitive youth sports.

Mark Hopper, Girls Commissioner

Brian is a 4CITY co-founder and has served as a commissioner and/or coach of virtually every program ever offered by 4CITY. As a father of two he is een involved as a coach, commissioner, president, and/or treasurer of 4CITY or our predecessor organization for almost 20 years. A parent of three, including two college basketball players, Sean is committed to equity in youth sports and oversees the distribution of 4CITY Foundation scholarships.

Jody Kramer, Executive Committe

Brian is a 4CITY co-founder and has served as a commissioner and/or coach of virtually every program ever offered by 4CITY. As a father of two he is een involved as a coach, commissioner, president, and/or treasurer of 4CITY or our predecessor organization for almost 20 years. A parent of three, including two college basketball players, Sean is committed to equity in youth sports and oversees the distribution of 4CITY Foundation scholarships.

Coach Rob

Rob is 4CITY's innaugural Executive Director, marking 4CITY's move to providing year-round programming with a full-time staff. Besides having extensive experience coaching baskteball at the youth, high school, international, and college levels, he exemplifies and inspires the 4C Philosophy with every interaction he has with his players.

Rob has worked extensively training high-level NCAA Division I athletes and international professionals; including multiple players on the Lebanese national team—many of whom are on the team which just qualified for the World Cup.

He has worked with players from D1 programs such as Kansas, Michigan State, Baylor, Wichita State, Kansas State, Oklahoma, Indiana, Wake Forest, South Dakota, and more.

Rob continued his journey to the Bay Area where he brought his player development program as well as rose to head trainer and coach for Esface, a leading Bay Area basketball academy.

Coach Rob currently serves as 4CITY's first Executive Director.

Coach Indira

Coach Indira is originally from Bosnia and moved to Los Angeles at the age of six. She holds a Master’s in Physical Education and is a USA basketball certified coach. A former D1 standout at Tulane University, she was named the Conference USA Player of the Year in 2009.

Kaljo played professionally overseas before beginning her coaching career. She has coached teams from elementary school up to the collegiate level in both the U.S. and internationally.

Indira is an advocate for girls participation in sports throughout the world, especially in the Muslim world.

Coach Indira loves developing the skills and "basketball IQs" of young players and is thrilled to be working with the athletes of 4CITY.

She says: "it is the 4C Philosophy, the wonderful players, and the opportunity to work with Justin and the Board, that has me committed to developing both the new and more experienced players in the 4City family."

Linda Allen, Officials

Linda has been involved with 4CITY and its predecessor (PANJB) for over 20 years. She tirelessly devotes her time to ensuring that every kid wearing a 4CITY jersey has an equal opportunity to learn, compete and excel. When she isn't coordinating officials, or chasing down our teen scorekeepers, you can find her reffing 4CITY games most Sundays.

Ramin Saket, Commissioner

Boys Commissioner

Linda has been involved with 4CITY and its predecessor (PANJB) for over 20 years. She tirelessly devotes her time to ensuring that every kid wearing a 4CITY jersey has an equal opportunity to learn, compete and excel. When she isn't coordinating officials, or chasing down our teen scorekeepers, you can find her reffing 4CITY games most Sundays.

Coach Justin

Justin was part of the 4CITY founding team and has served as Board President since 2016. A washed up athlete, entrepreneur, and parent of three, Justin has been coaching youth basketball for over 30 years and is especially passionate about growing access and opportunities for girls’ basketball in the Peninsula.
