Winter Rookie League season is half way over and it's time to shift towards playing games. Read below for instructions on how to register your players for games each week...
Dear Rookie League Parents,
Wow! The first half of the season is already over.
We want to recognize our enthusiastic and hard working players—their energy and joy make it a true pleasure for our coaches. From the first session, we have been
impressed with their focus on the "4C" way of playing basketball, including knowing all of the 4Cs and trying to embody them. Thank you for raising such a wonderful group of young people!
What changes now?
The next four weeks of the season we shift to playing "mini-games" on Sundays.
You must reserve your game slot using the Pluck app (download from the app store and log in with your 4city credentials) or logging in at www.4city.us. See "how to reserve a game slot" section below.
The game slots are 45 minutes long and start at 11:00, 11:45, and 12:30.
There are two games in each time slot, on Court 1 and Court 2.
All players can play in "Open" games. There is also a Kinders only game, a Girls only game, and an "L3" game which is for more advanced players.
Players may reserve two games each Sunday.
The first fifteen minutes of each time slot will be skills development and the games will be the last thirty minutes.
On the last day of the season, March 1st, all players should come from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm for a fun jamboree tournament followed by and end of season treat.
REMINDER: there are no more Friday clinics.
Special times this Sunday
Game times will be start later than usual this Sunday only. We are hosting a city-wide tournament for our older leagues, so Rookie League mini games will begin later in the day. Updated game times for this Sunday will be 12:15 pm, 1:00 pm, and 1:45 pm.

How to reserve a game slot
Go to the Pluck app or log in to your 4CITY account at 4city.us (make sure you do a hard reload of the page if it's already open in your browser).
Choose the "Calendar" module from the left-hand menu.
If you don't see events for the rookie league you might need to hit the refresh button in the upper right hand corner.
Click "RESERVE" next to the game slot you want to reserve.
If you have more than one child registered you will be able to select either or both players... then click RESERVE YES to finalize your reservation.
You should receive an email confirmation for your reservation.
There are a maximum of 20 players allowed on each court.
No team requests will be honored—players will be separated into teams by the coaches before the start of each game.
Reservations open ten days in advance.
