4CITY Divisional Leagues are designed to give intermediate and experienced players exposure to competitive basketball while adhering to our 4C Philosophy. There are six separate leagues: 3rd/4th, 5th/6th, and 7th/8th grades for both boys and girls.
2021-22 Divisional Leagues
We are excited to be back offering our flagship Divisional Leagues for 3rd-8th graders playing on indoor courts!
Given the long break many kids have had from organized basketball, we will be starting the season with a four week "pre-season" focused on skills training with professional coaches. This is included as part of the fees, and is also how we will be evaluating players to form balanced teams.
Players will be drafted onto their teams in mid November at which point they will be assigned one weeknight practice time and one Saturday practice time. Given the large number of teams and scheduling complexity, players must practice with their assigned teams at their given time. Saturday practices are mandatory, while weeknight practices are optional but strongly encouraged.
All games are on Sundays, starting December 5th and going through our end-of-season tournament on February 12th and 13th. There are no practices Thanksgiving week and no games over the holiday break.
- Return Family Registration (Existing 4CITY/PANJB families only): Opens Wednesday, September 15th @ 9 am
- Friends Registration (with referral only): Opens Thursday, September 16th @ 9 am
- Public Registration: Opens Friday, September 17th @ 9 am
These fees cover all gyms, referees, scorekeepers, and professional coaching expenses for four weeks of pre-season clinics, twelve weeks of practice, eight weeks of games, and the end-of-season tournament. Players will receive a personalized long sleeve 4CITY shooting shirt to keep.
Full and half scholarships are available on a need basis—please email firstname.lastname@example.org to apply.

All teams will have a Saturday practice of 75 minutes at a local gym. Times will be selected by coaches after their teams have been formed. These practices are MANDATORY and coaches may withhold playing time in games for unexcused absences.
Given the long break many kids have had from organized basketball, we will base running a four week pre-season clinic included as part of the fees. These four skills workouts run by professional coaches are optional, but players are requested to attend at lease two sessions in order to be evaluated for the draft. These pre-season weekends will be 10/23-10/24, 10/30-10/31, 11/6-11/7, and 11/13-11/14. Each division will have an hour slot at the same time each week (either Saturday or Sunday afternoon) which will be assigned after registration is complete.
Players will be assigned to teams (8-10 players) in each of our divisions: 3rd/4th, 5th/6th and 7th/8th, with separate leagues for boys and girls. Each team will have a parent head coach and assistant coach, plus a professional “master coach” for their age group. Coaches will "draft" players after the pre-season with the goal of creating fair and balanced teams. Teams will be formed during the pre-season and announced by November 14th.
Please note that we will be following all county and state COVID guidelines, which currently require any players, coaches, refs and fans to be masked at all times when indoors. We will also be keeping all gym doors open for optimal airflow (fans bundle up!) and maintaining social distancing for water breaks. Players will be required to leave the game or practice and exit the gym if they need to remove their masks. We may adjust these requirements throughout the season if guidelines change.
