High School League

The 4CITY high school league offers a competitive program for high school aged players seeking to play outside of their public/private school programs. Players are grouped by Varsity and JV skill levels.

2020-2021 Season

Due to COVID-19, high school leagues will not be in session for the 2020-2021 season.

Players will be assigned to “pods” of 12 so that we can conform with the current social distancing requirements. Each pod will be grouped into “Varsity” and “Junior Varsity” levels, based on grade and high school playing experience. Pods will practice together online and have a weekly shoot around or scrimmage as rules allow.

Due to COVID-19, high school leagues will not be in session for the 2020-2021 season.

The season will start the week of November 7th and run through February 7th (excluding the week of Thanksgiving and two weeks over Winter Break).

Pods will have two virtual practices/workouts during the week (late afternoon or early evening). Virtual practices will involve fitness and skills training by professional coaches from organizations like Esface, KOPA and local high schools.

On Saturdays or Sundays, pods will meet for socially-distanced shoot-arounds, competitions or scrimmages at a local park or outdoor school court, weather permitting. We will ask for parent monitor volunteers to help enforce the social-distancing rules. Only parent monitors and players will be allowed to remain at the court during practice.

Players will also have access to video workouts and skill-builders they can complete on days when they don’t have practice, thanks to our partnerships with Curious, Breakthrough Basketball and eCoach. Head coaches will provide a suggested workout plan for off days to keep kids fit and exercising.

Due to COVID-19, high school leagues will not be in session for the 2020-2021 season.
